This morning Blossom's leg still had a bit of heat in it, but there was no swelling. I was so glad, I think she has just strained it a bit with her gallop to the gate. She is still lame on the hard ground, but I think this is more to do with her having lost a shoe than her tendon. She does tend to go lame if she losses a shoe, the farrier is coming on Friday to do them anyway so she will get new shoes then.
So this morning we started with friendly with the hose again and hosed her leg, then we went for a walk round the field. I used this as a opportunity to work on our leading problems, so done a lot of walk to stand and some back up.
Tonight there was very little heat if any in her leg, but I decided to hose it just to be on the safe side. She must know I am trying to help her as she is being so well behaved and stands perfect for the hose and to get her bandages on.
Hopefully tomorrow there will be no heat and she can maybe go out for a couple of hours. Well I'm off to read the old level two booklets on the Impulsion programmes to see if that will help me with some of our ridden problems. Then going to watch the Parelli Masterclass on Sky - can't wait for the second part!!
