Well thought I should really update this!!

Today I had the osteopath coming out to check Gee – Whizz and Shady so I had to leave work early to be there for him. Once he was finished I made the most of being home early and went and got Blossom to catch me. I had took her saddle and all my equipment out with me, so once she had caught me I got her to go and put her nose on the equipment and her saddle.

We then had a quick play before I saddled her, she stood really well to be saddled. We then headed off up the field and played with circles, yo yo and a few squeeze games. I them felt she was ready for me to mount so I done some pre riding checks then got on and checked my lateral flexion. All was good, so we walked round the field and had a little trot. We then played with barrel patterns she was going really well in walk, so we moved up to trot. She was really good and felt really safe and in control, so I asked for canter and again this was really good, really steady canter!!

So after that nice canter I decided to finish on that note as she had been so good I didn’t want to push for much more from her today.
